As a research respondent, you may voluntarily share personal information with us, including your name, email address, and/or phone number. Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), California residents have certain special rights related to their personal information.

Under CCPA, the “personal information” that aQity collects may include your name, postal address, IP address, phone number(s), email address(es), and/or employer name. 

“Selling” this information is broadly defined under CCPA. It includes “…renting, releasing, disclosing, disseminating, making available, [and] transferring…” This includes sharing this information with our client who is sponsoring the research. Please know that aQity never sells or shares respondent information with any other third party, nor for any sales or marketing efforts.

If you are a California resident, some of your interactions with aQity are governed by the CCPA.
